Dairy Resilience: How Ukrainian Farmers Achieve Records Despite the War
Missile strikes, losses, forced relocations, abnormal heat, blackouts, resource and personnel shortages – all of this has become the new "normal" for Ukrainian agrarians. But even under such conditions, Ukraine's dairy sector has not only persevered but has managed to grow. In 2024, the average cow productivity in industrial farms reached 8167 kg per cow per year – 20% more than in 2021.
